LINEN OR COTTON?

Exclusive and unique fabrics

  • Strength. Linen is 3 times stronger than cotton and wears 5 times slower.
  • Rigidness. Linen is more rigid, but it softens when washing. Cotton is instantly soft and gentle.
  • Thermoregulatory properties. Linen bedding maintains a constant body temperature during sleep. It cools on hot nights and warms when it's colder. Cotton bedding can have either a warming or a cooling effect, depending on the type of weaving.
  • Longevity. Linen bedding can last 20-30 years. With proper care, cotton bedding will remain as new for 3-5 years. We usually use cotton bedding for about 10 years.
  • Suitability for sensitive skin. Linen bedding has antiseptic and antibacterial properties, suitable for those with allergies and skin sensitivities. Cotton is suitable for sensitive skin but has no antibacterial properties.
